Cyber-attacks are a global phenomenon, with many Telecom organizations being routinely attacked. In the area of Malware attacks 40% of operators have reported incidents in the previous 12 months, it can be reasonably assumed that many more have actually been affected. The news of a wide range of cyber-attacks on Telecom is reported on a weekly basis.
